Privacy Policy
1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how AnokhaGift ("we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares and protects personal data when you visit anokhagift.com, create an account, place an order, upload photographs or other content, contact us, or otherwise use our services. It applies from 19 September 2026.
By using the website or providing information to us, you acknowledge this policy. Where consent is required by applicable law, we will request it separately and you may withdraw it as described below.
2. Information we collect
Account and contact information, such as your name, email address, mobile number, password or one-time-password records.
Order and delivery information, including billing and shipping addresses, recipient details, gift messages, product choices, invoices, order history and support communications.
Personalisation content, including photographs, artwork, names, text, dates and other files you choose to upload. These files may contain personal data about you or other people.
Payment-related information. Payments may be processed by Razorpay or another displayed payment provider. We generally receive transaction identifiers, payment status and limited payment metadata, not your full card or UPI credentials.
Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser, device identifiers, cookie data, pages visited, referring URLs and approximate location derived from IP address.
Information you provide through reviews, surveys, promotions, appointment requests, WhatsApp, email, telephone or social media.
3. How we use information
To create accounts, process payments, personalise and manufacture products, deliver orders, issue invoices, handle cancellations, replacements and refunds, and provide customer support.
To verify uploaded content and order instructions, detect fraud, secure accounts, prevent misuse, keep audit records and comply with law.
To improve the website, products, personalisation previews, delivery experience and customer service.
To send service communications about orders, payments, production, shipping, account security, appointments and policy changes.
To send offers or marketing only where permitted. You may opt out through the unsubscribe link or by contacting us; transactional messages may continue.
4. Uploaded photographs and personalisation files
You retain ownership of content you upload. You give us and our production partners a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, reproduce, crop, resize, colour-correct and otherwise process that content only as needed to preview, produce, quality-check, deliver and support your order.
We will not use private customer photographs in advertising or public samples without separate permission. You must have the rights and permissions necessary to submit the content, including consent from identifiable people where required.
We may refuse or remove content that is illegal, infringing, abusive, sexually exploitative, hateful, deceptive or otherwise unsafe. Personalisation files may be retained for a limited period for order fulfilment, dispute handling, reorders where offered, security and legal compliance, and then deleted or anonymised according to our retention process.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies for login, security, carts and checkout. With your choices where required, we may also use analytics, preference and advertising technologies to understand performance and personalise communications. You can manage cookies through the website banner and browser settings, although disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.
6. When we share information
We may share only the information reasonably necessary with payment processors, hosting and cloud providers, production and printing vendors, shipping and logistics partners, email/SMS/WhatsApp providers, analytics or security vendors, professional advisers and government authorities where legally required.
Service providers must process information for authorised purposes and under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations. We do not sell or rent personal data for third-party marketing. If the business is reorganised, merged or transferred, information may move with the business subject to applicable safeguards.
7. Storage, transfers and security
Information may be processed in India or other locations used by our service providers, subject to applicable legal requirements. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including access controls and secure transmission where appropriate. No internet or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
8. Retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably required for the purposes described here, including order fulfilment, warranty and support, accounting and tax records, fraud prevention, dispute resolution and legal obligations. Retention periods vary by record type. We delete, anonymise or securely isolate information when it is no longer required.
9. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask for access to or correction, updating, erasure or withdrawal of consent for personal data, and may raise a grievance. We may verify your identity and may retain information where law or legitimate record-keeping requires it. To submit a request, contact the privacy address below from your registered email or provide sufficient order/account details.
10. Children
The website is intended for people who can lawfully enter into a contract. A parent or lawful guardian should place orders involving a child and must have authority to upload the child's photograph or other personal data.
11. Third-party links and policy updates
Third-party websites and services have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for their content or policies. We may update this policy and will publish the revised effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or registered contact details where appropriate.
